Conducted by the renowned Randy Mani Tennis Academy (RMTA), these competition programs are recommended for intermediate to advanced juniors, ages 8 to 18, who actively participate in USTA and/or ITF tournaments. The emphasis is on learning and perfecting techniques as well as on points play, shot selection and strategies for singles and doubles play. The academy reinforces processes that develop increased control through mastery over depth, consistency, spin and power. Conditioning, drilling and practice matches are key components. Also incorporates advanced strategy and tactics, video analysis, match-charting and pre-tournament training sessions. Tryouts necessary for new students, and players must commit to playing a min. number of tournaments per year.
TTP Plus:
Advanced group, max. 4 kids per court, 6 program hours per week.
Session: 41-week school year: Sept 2011 - June 2012.
Fixed 3-days a week training schedule:

Mon & Wed: 5:30 - 7:30 pm and
Sun: 1:00 - 3:00 pm
Cost: $11,070 ($45/hour x 2 hrs x 3 days x 41 weeks)
10% deposit, Balance 90% in equal monthly installments, applied from Sept. to June.
TTP Weekend:

Weekend Tournament Travel Teams
3-day Travel Team packages, Friday - Sunday. Team usually departs on Friday morning from Hardscrabble Club for the selected USTA, ITA or other tournament, and returns to Hardscrabble Club on Sunday evening – the exact time of arrival is based on the last player still in tournament.
The cost includes transportation to and from the tournament site, hotel stay, coaching, management and supervision.
Not included is the cost of meals, pocket money for personal expenses and the USTA, ITA or other applicable Entry Fee – you are responsible for making your own entries per the standard rules and deadlines of the particular tournament.
Days & Times: Friday am to Sunday pm
Cost: $495/weekend
Inter-club Jr. Teams
There are 2 types - USTA / JTT League as well as NWJTL Summer League. Hardscrabble Club's Jr. 'A-Team' and 'C-Team' have done very well in these Leagues, fielding the winning team(s) in past seasons several times!
Great, and not too competitive, team formats within which to play other local club’s junior teams. Some ‘home matches’ and some ‘away matches’. Pre-match team practices may be scheduled sometimes. Enjoy the camaraderie and team spirit while playing to win for your club!

Sunday Nights Match Play
FREE Sunday Nights Match Play
6:00 to 8:00 pm - during all 41 weeks of the season, Sept 2011 - June 2012.
Open to all players enrolled in the Club’s junior programs. All kids are encouraged to attend as often as possible – matches will be called between players of similar level.
This is the only way to build your 'tennis experience' – by playing as many sets as possible.
All results count for the Ladder (see below).

TTP LADDER
TTP Ladder
For TTP and JDP juniors only, this ladder ranks every player enrolled in both programs based on their wins and losses to other players. Matches must be played once called by the Director – no excuses will be entertained. Remember, matches will be called between players of similar level. This is the only way to build your 'tennis experience' – by playing as many sets as possible. Results reported are fed in to the ladder. This is a very competitive ladder - check your progress! Sunday match play results count, as do matches called on any other day at the program. You may challenge players up to 2 spots above you on the ladder by requesting the Director – however, all matches are called solely at the Director’s discretion. USTA match results also count for the ladder.
No Cost – all TTP players are automatically on the ladder.
JDP players must attend Match Play on Sundays to get on the ladder.
