Squash News

Report on Hardscrabble Club's Junior Squash Silver Level Tournament held on Sunday, April 27.  Some exciting squash was seen at the Club in the Under 17 Boys section where Max Ortwein used his height and power to good advantage to convincingly win over Zac Bluestone in the final.
In the Under 15 Boys final, Harrison Croll won a quality match in 4 close games from Mark Sperry whilst in the Under 15 Girls final, Mark's sister, Alexandria prevailed over Anne Duff in 3 clear-cut games.  The quality of squash was a notch up from our previous tournaments as this was silver level - Krystyna Miles kept the local flag flying high by winning the Consolation in the Under 15 Girls, and received many glowing comments for her undoubted potential from many observers in this, only her 2nd tournament -well done!

Tournaments will now not resume until next semester - keep training!

Do not forget the Club's Squash Camps starting June 23 which go for 10 weeks through the summer till August 29 -
